Being Deliberately: The Final Book
We construct everything — self, meaning, relationships, culture, even reality itself. Most of the time, this construction is unconscious, habitual, inherited. Let's bring awareness to the construction, facilitating Choice in every moment on who we are to become. Being can be constructed deliberately. We are not a human being, we are a human constructing, deliberately being.
What is the Transcendence Engine?
The Transcendence Engine explains how human beings construct their worldview, why they become stuck inside it, and how they can consciously evolve beyond it. Most systems of personal growth describe what people think at different stages. The Transcendence Engine reveals how they think — and how to shift it.
Transcendence EngineIt integrates three elements:
- 1. Cognitive Intentions (CI's)
- 2. Developmental Worldviews
- 3. The Path of Transcendence
Every worldview is held in place by a specific combination of CIs — your lock pattern. You transcend that stage by shifting the CIs that built it — your target pattern. This means your development is not a mystery, a leap of faith, or a philosophical hope. It is a technical process that can be understood and practiced deliberately.
Why this matters
The Transcendence Engine gives you a way to: Understand why you think the way you do. See why other people think differently. Identify the exact forces keeping you stuck. Know precisely how to evolve your perspective. Move toward higher levels of awareness with intention rather than struggle. It transforms personal development from guesswork into a deliberate act.
The Four Pillars as Existential Compass
• Intention – What is the trajectory of my being?
• Awareness – How conscious am I of the patterns shaping me?
• Choice – Do I have real freedom here, or am I trapped in habit?
• Response – How do I enact my being in the world?
Living deliberately means cycling through this compass not just in work, but in every human act — breathing, loving, creating, leading, grieving.
Beyond Philosophy and Psychology
Philosophy gave us the questions; psychology gave us the tools. CDT offers the practice. To live deliberately is not to debate meaning, but to experience meaning-making as a dynamic act. This is not about theories of mind or stages of ego alone. It is about a way of living that cuts across domains:
• Philosophy: existence is constructed.
• Science: cognition predicts behaviour.
• Spirituality: awareness creates presence.
• Society: culture is collective construction.
Being deliberately integrates them all — without superstition, without dogma.
The Human Condition
We long for certainty, but reality is flux. We create identities, roles, and systems to anchor ourselves, forgetting that they are scaffolds we built. Suffering arises when we confuse the scaffold with the self.
To be deliberate is to live with the paradox: meaning is both essential and meaningless, real and constructed, stable and fleeting. Awareness lets us hold this tension without collapsing into despair or illusion.
The Call to Agency
• Intention – What is the trajectory of my being?
• Awareness – How conscious am I of the patterns shaping me?
• Choice – Do I have real freedom here, or am I trapped in habit?
• Response – How do I enact my being in the world?
Living deliberately means cycling through this compass not just in work, but in every human act — breathing, loving, creating, leading, grieving.
Living the Manifesto

The Revolutionary Edge
This book is not a self-help manual, nor a coaching text. It is a new ontology of living. It invites the reader to discard inherited blueprints — from religion, culture, and even psychology — and instead to construct deliberately, moment by moment. To live this way is to reject passivity. It is to say:
- I will not inherit my being.
- I will not outsource my awareness.
- I will not live unconsciously.
- I will be deliberately.
The Revolutionary Edge
In a way, Being Deliberately is the AQ10 book of my series. It will show you how to adopt the AQ10 stance, not by telling you what to think, but by showing you how to be the constructor in every possible outcome. It will carry a radical reassurance: • You cannot be surprised, because every surprise is already an expected construction. • You cannot be broken, because you authored the conditions of being broken. • You cannot be saved, because you never needed saving — only constructing.
